ADDA is an amazing community of adults with ADHD supporting each other. My story is not unusual. When I found ADDA, I needed help. I never believed someday I’d be able to help others.

That’s what makes ADDA special. Here, ADDA members support each other. We each contribute what we can, get the help we need, and pay it forward to help others.

On any given day, you might need help. On another day, you’ll be able to help someone else. Together, we all do better.

My Story

On Tuesday, December 1st, we’re celebrating what we’ve accomplished together. Won’t you help us celebrate with a day dedicated to giving? Let’s all give together for #GivingTuesday.

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving back, celebrating generosity and kindness. It falls on the Tuesday following American Thanksgiving each year. #GivingTuesday for 2020 is December 1st.

On December 1st, you’ll be recovering from a “retail therapy” overdose. Black Friday is a crazy, door-breaking mad scramble at traditional retailers. We’ve added more madness on Cyber Monday for online shoppers. I love a good deal, but the blatant consumerism makes me feel a bit dirty. I mean, people get hurt on Black Friday!

That’s why ADDA participates in #GivingTuesday. #GivingTuesday is your chance to celebrate the real meaning of the season. We can all use our wallets to show our gratitude through giving.

Show Your Gratitude Through Giving

On #GivingTuesday, adults with ADHD (and the people who love them) can give as good as they get. On the day after Cyber Monday, it’s time to help your community. We’d like the entire ADHD adult community to say thank you for ADDA’s support (and help us continue to support you!)

You can even use your donation to pay tribute to a loved one. Or to say thanks to someone special who supported you or a loved one at a trying time. You will receive a prompt thank you and tax receipt. ADDA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so all donations are tax exempt by the IRS.

And you’ll be helping an organization that supports you and adults with ADHD like you.

Celebrate Success

ADDA has changed the world for many adults with ADHD. On Tuesday, December 1st, help us celebrate what ADDA has accomplished with your help.

To your success,

Duane Gordon, President
Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA)
