Lidia Zylowska MD is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and a faculty member of the University of Minnesota Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing. She has been working the field of adult ADHD and mindfulness-based therapies since early 2000s and she is a co-founding member of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. Together with her UCLA colleagues, she pioneered the application of mindfulness in ADHD and developed the Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) for ADHD program. She is also an author of self-help book Mindfulness Prescription for Adult ADHD as well as an upcoming book co-authored with John T. Mitchell, PhD., Mindfulness for Adult ADHD: A Clinician’s Guide.
