About Me
Professional Biography
Instead of "Coach," I prefer "Thinking Partner." But, hey, no one asked me. I'm really just another person with ADHD (and a bunch of other challenges) who after years of never reaching "my potential" finally hired an ADHD coach. I was amazed at how quickly I started to see the benefits. Then the voice in my head told me something like, "You should be a coach, you can help people like you." It was the beginning of Covid time so I jumped in and got my Advanced Certification from ADDCA. I absolutely love coaching, it is my Mission, and my clients tell me I"m good at it. It"s probably the best use of my ADHD superpower: HYPER FOCUS. I bring the understanding of my own ADHD into each session and create a fun and interesting learning experience. Did I just say "interesting?" You bet. We ADHDers are geared to what is interesting. The challenge is that our interests get in the way of what"s important. And, we have such powerful brains- it’s like having a Ferrari engine with bicycle brakes! And time blindness too! To state the obvious (you wouldn’t be here if everything was going fantastically), ADHD makes it difficult to succeed in the neurotypical world. The good news is that we can figure out our best way of building the life we desire. Instead of trying to fit ourselves into the neurotypical box, we create our own environment. And when we use our powers to overcome the challenges and create our best life we end up doing amazing things that have an oversized impact on the world. If you are willing to do the work, I would love to go on that journey with you.
