About Me
Professional Biography
Hi, I'm Dr. Julie Hsu, a licensed psychologist located in Austin, TX. I provide strengths-based therapy for adults with ADHD. I also support clients experiencing anxiety and depression. I have a warm, down-to-earth, and supportive approach.
I offer skills-based support for ADHD. We work together on practical strategies to help with organization, focus, and confidence. Clients begin shifting unstructured days into a rhythm that works for them & daunting projects into doable steps. We also work together to address procrastination, overwhelm, and low self-esteem related to ADHD. Self-compassion, acknowledging personal strengths, and affirming neurodiversity is also an important part of our work together.
The research-based program I use was developed at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in collaboration with adults with ADHD. I flexibly integrate other approaches, with the understanding that the client is the expert in their own experience. My learning is ongoing and reflective.
I provide therapy services for clients in TX as well as several other states, including GA, NJ, and CO, to name a few (https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap). I provide all services through a secure telehealth platform. Teletherapy is convenient, comfortable, and effective.
Please check out my website and reach out to connect! :) I"d love to hear from you.
