John Cozzi — The Perennial Space

I coach professionals with ADHD who are doing well on paper but still find themselves caught in the gap between knowing what they need to do and actually being able to do it. My own experience of that gap is part of what led me here. I know what it is like to understand something clearly and still struggle to translate that understanding into action, and The Perennial Space grew out of wanting to help other people navigate that more effectively.

My route into coaching has been a little unusual. I spent much of my career in corporate finance and operations, across media, financial services and enterprise software, and then combined that experience with postgraduate training in psychology and coaching focused specifically on ADHD. My MSc Psychology dissertation at Birkbeck, University of London examined visual processing, expectation, facial expertise, and ADHD using behavioural reaction-time methods, and I graduated with Distinction. I have also completed the training required for the ICF Associate Certified Coach credential and am now building the coaching hours required for accreditation.

I work mainly with adults dealing with executive-function challenges in demanding professional lives, including people in leadership roles and those running their own businesses. Much of the work is about getting underneath the overwhelm, self-doubt and burnout to understand what is actually getting in the way, rather than assuming the answer is another system or another attempt to try harder.
