Cynthia Djengue, LCSW, Clinical Therapist & ADHD Coach
About Me
Professional Biography
Cynthia Djengue, MSSW, LCSW, LISW
ADHD Therapist, Coach, Relationship Specialist & Brainspotting Practitioner
I help adults with ADHD move from overwhelm, self-doubt, and chronic stress toward greater clarity, confidence, and connection. With more than 30 years of experience in social work, psychotherapy, education, and coaching, I specialize in working with adults who are navigating the real-world challenges of ADHD, including executive functioning difficulties, emotional dysregulation, relationship stress, burnout, anxiety, and life transitions.
My approach is practical, compassionate, and strengths-based. I recognize that ADHD affects much more than attention. It can impact self-esteem, communication, productivity, emotional well-being, and relationships. Together, we identify obstacles, develop sustainable strategies, and build on existing strengths rather than focusing solely on deficits.
As both a licensed psychotherapist and ADHD coach, I offer support tailored to each person's needs. Therapy may address anxiety, trauma, attachment patterns, emotional regulation, and relationship concerns. Coaching focuses on accountability, organization, goal attainment, time management, executive functioning, and creating systems that support success in work, school, and daily life.
I also have specialized experience helping couples and partners affected by ADHD improve communication, rebuild trust, and better understand the impact ADHD can have on relationships.
My work integrates evidence-based practices with mindfulness, somatic approaches, Brainspotting, attachment-informed interventions, and practical ADHD strategies. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can better understand themselves and build meaningful, lasting change.
