About Me
Professional Biography
Hi, I'm Aviva.
I'm honored to be one of a select group of coaches to hold the PCAC (Professional Certified ADHD Coach) designation, along with the PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I'm also a trained Executive Function Coach and a Mentor Coach, supporting other coaches in their professional growth. I also received my ADHD and Family Coach training from the ADD Coaching Academy (ADDCA) — the global pioneer in ADHD coach training and the only comprehensive program fully accredited by both the ICF and PAAC. In addition, I'm a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, currently pursuing my national board credential (NBHWC).
This work is deeply personal for me. As the mom of three now-young-adult children with ADHD, and the non-ADHD spouse of a husband with ADHD, I have about as real an understanding of ADHD as a neurotypical can. I truly get it. For more than 20 years I've had an insider's view of the challenges, the frustration, and yes, sometimes the chaos, but also the creativity, fun, and adventure that ADHD brings to a life and a family.
My family were, in essence, my first clients, and the catalyst that led me on this loving journey to becoming an ADHD coach. I began my training simply to understand ADHD better and help the people I love. To my surprise, I found an inspiring career along the way. I'll admit I sometimes feel a little left out that I'm not part of the ADHD tribe myself, but I've also come to see that the perspective and natural skill set I bring, as a neurotypical and now as an expertly trained, experienced coach, is exactly what has helped my family and my clients not just navigate their lives, but truly thrive.
The clients I'm lucky to work with include professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs; high school, college, and grad students; homemakers; and parents of children with ADHD, from all around the world. What they share is motivation, a real desire to make positive changes and become the best version of themselves.
My approach is warm, encouraging, and strengths-based. As a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I bring a holistic health-and-wellness foundation to my work, because steady sleep, movement, nutrition, and stress management create the conditions for optimal ADHD management. Drawing on positive psychology, wellness science, and cutting-edge strategies from neuroscience, I help clients move from overwhelm, inconsistency, and self-doubt to clarity, confidence, and follow-through. Together we work on organization, time management, focus, planning, productivity, emotional regulation, self-esteem, goal achievement, career and academic growth, and work/life balance and wellness, always with strategies that work with your brain, not against it. My clients tell me it's the mix of real expertise, genuine warmth, and a good dose of intuition that helps them reach their goals and build happier, more fulfilling lives.
I coach clients in person in New York and over Zoom worldwide. If any of this resonates with you, I'd love to hear from you.
