Hi, my name is Heather Emerich, and I am a Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional – Child & Adolescent (CCATP-CA) and a ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).  Wow that is a lot of acronyms what it means is I work with teens, adults, and parents with learning how to take charge of your ADHD or Anxiety (often both). My theory is you go to a specialist when you go for medical care and deserve the same for your mental health.

Everyone with AHDH understands the phrase the squirrel is real.  Everything can be going simply fine, and the squirrel will hop on over to distract you or run off with something very important ( car keys, homework, etc.).  I help individuals and their parents gain the skills they need to be able to handle all the ups and downs of ADHD.

I also have trained extensively in anxiety and found that many clients with ADHD have suffered from anxiety at some point in their lives.  Also understand that anxiety can pop up for anyone going through transitions like changing jobs and starting new classes in school.

Why work with me for ADHD? I like to self-disclose to my clients that I have ADHD so everything I have you try I have tried myself.  I have trained in the U.S. and U.K., so I bring an understanding of different cultures and major life changes.

Ready to tame the squirrel or your anxiety you can schedule a 15min consultation on the website, email be at hlemerich@unbrokenhealing.com or call me at 720-341-4770 (sometimes the squirrel has my phone so email is always best).
