For years, I had no idea I had ADHD. It all started when I was diagnosed with OCD and Anxiety at the age of 16, then Dyslexia and Dyspraxia at the age of 21. Life was tough. As it was hard for me to fit in with the norms, I often concealed my emotions and restlessness around others, particularly at school when I was younger. Fast-forward to years later, while working in China as a teacher, I attended a workshop that changed everything. A lady who gave a talk on ADHD at the event described my entire life right to the point! Listening to her remarks echoed everything I had been feeling for years. Soon after, I was diagnosed with ADHD, which was the key that unlocked my box. I had always known that teaching and helping others was my passion but, following my ADHD diagnosis, I realized all the more, where exactly I wanted to be.
