Dr. David P. Pomeroy M.D.Doctor ADD Center of Bellevue
I have been a Board-certified Family Physician since 1979, did general Family Practice for 26 years (office and hospital practice, delivered babies, assisted at surgeries, etc). In 2005 I left traditional medical practice to start a practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and co-occurring conditions. I have seen over 3000 patients of all ages since that time.
I have always made time to listen to my patients; I believe that is how I can help them the best. I aim to bring all my training, knowledge and experience to each visit with each patient. I learn from my patients, about ADHD, about the human experience, and about life. I aim to return the same to them.
I maintain my knowledge base in ADHD with reading specialty journals and newsletters (none with any advertising), belonging to specialty groups of professionals in the field of ADHD and also the American Academy of Family Physicians, « my roots ».
I have been blessed to have many experiences in many areas of the US and Europe, with people from all walks of life, during various stages of my life. I believe that informs my relationships with my patients and enables me to be a better physician. I truly enjoy serving my patients, informing them of options in treatments, following their progress, seeing them grow along the many stages of life. That’s my passion.
