Hello, I’m Lauren with Positively Centered. I am a certified personal coach with a special interest and education in all things ADHD. My education is through the Internationally recognized ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) where I earned my advanced certification (ACCG). I am also a member of ACO and ICF.
As your coach, I will listen deeply to what you bring forth and will help guide you in the direction you want to go. Many of us (whether there’s ADHD present or not) feel overwhelmed, distracted, misunderstood, alone and often have trouble getting started on important tasks. Together, we will uncover your strengths, aspirations and interests. Eventually you will emerge with the confidence and enthusiasm to level up in your relationships, your career, as an advocate for your children or parents, or wherever else you may feel stuck. Through working with me, you will become familiar with tools, resources, and systems that will help you (and your family) in a very concrete and profound way.
I am mother to two differently wired and spunky sons (elementary school aged), wife to an even spunkier husband (unclear on his wiring!) and I seem to be the “the person” for our energetic and soulful chocolate lab. I earned a BA from UCSC (Go Banana Slugs!), I have my AACC certification from ADDCA, and I have a certificate of completion for “The Science of Well-Being” course with Dr. Laurie Santos (Yale). I dream of someday obtaining my Masters in Positive Psychology. I also dream of traveling across the U.S. in an Airstream. Did I mention… I have ADHD too!!!
Chemistry and trust matter. I wholeheartedly believe that if a coach and a client are a good fit, anything is possible. I offer a complimentary 30 discovery session. My clients tend to feel sparks of energy and enthusiasm as well as an overall sense of positivity and possibility after working with me.
