  3. Jennifer Henry, M.A.Ed., LPC – mental health counselor in Ohio
Licensed Professional Counselor (Ohio)
Gentle Shepherd Counseling Center
Address:
1469 S Main St., North Canton, OH 44720
Description:

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Ohio, currently practicing at Gentle Shepherd Counseling Center in North Canton, Ohio. As an LPC in Ohio, I am currently dependently licensed, so I meet with my supervisor, Emily Indorf, LPCC-S, on a regular basis to ensure that I am providing the best care possible for each client. Gentle Shepherd has been a phenomenal place to work, as our focus is on healing, growth, and promoting the overall wellbeing of each of our clients and families.

As someone who was not diagnosed with ADHD until adulthood, my special passion in the field has been serving children, teens, and adults with ADHD, working to build and strengthen skills, practice new ways of working with (and understanding) an ADHD brain, and facilitating the healing process for any mental health concerns that the individual and/or family are facing. As a faith-based (Christian) practice, GSCC greatly values the healing aspect of incorporating a client’s personal faith or spirituality into treatment when desired and appropriate. We do have many clients who do not identify with any particular faith or religion (as well as different, non-Christian faith backgrounds), and it is important to us to respect whatever the client’s needs and desires are – meaning, the client always gets to decide if/when any element of faith, religion, or spirituality is desired, and it is never pushed or pressured.

At GSCC, I am able to offer telehealth services for anyone within the state of Ohio. If you are looking for a therapist who is familiar with/specializes in ADHD-related mental health concerns and you are based anywhere in Ohio, I would love to be a resource to help you find hope, healing, and growth. Give us a call or shoot us an email if you have any questions, and I would love to talk with you!

As a long-time member of ADDA and CHADD, I always look forward to the International Conference on ADHD. Hopefully I may see you there some day, and I would love to chat!
