I’m Dr. Russell Ramsay, a psychologist who specializes in the assessment and psychosocial treatment of adult ADHD, particularly cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) Starting July 1, 2023, I will be working in my independent, solo, completely virtual psychology practice. In addition to being a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania, I am PsyPact credentialed, which means I can practice telepsychology with individuals in PsyPact participating states.
I am co-founder of the the University of Pennsylvania’s Adult ADHD Treatment and Research Program and until my departure from Penn that will go into effect at the end of June 2023, I was the clinical director of the ADHD Program and professor of clinical psychology in the Perelman School of Medicine at PENN.
I’ve authored numerous peer-reviewed professional and scientific articles and book chapters. I’ve written five books on adult ADHD. My sixth book with the the “CBT Workbook for Adult ADHD and Anxiety” to be published by New Harbinger. I’m an inductee in the CHADD Hall of Fame, I’m on the editorial board of the Journal of Attention Disorders, and am board-certified in cognitive-behavioral therapy. I’m also experienced in CBT for depression and anxiety.
