- J. Russell Ramsay, PhD, ABPP, Independent, Virtual Practice
I’m Dr. Russell Ramsay, a psychologist who specializes in the assessment and psychosocial treatment (cognitive behavior therapy or CBT) of adult ADHD. If you struggle with ADHD or are not certain if your struggles with poor time management, procrastination and avoidance, managing your feelings, or simply turning your plans into action and fulfilling your potential are related to ADHD or not, but you’re just seeking help, I can help you out.
I launched my solo, completely virtual telepsychology practice in July 2023, and I’m enrolling and seeing new clients. In addition to being a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania, I am PsyPact credentialed, which means I can practice telepsychology with individuals in the 35+ PsyPact participating states and DC, if your situation is appropriate for telehealth. Check here to see if you are in a PsyPact state: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap
My solo practice is completely virtual.
If you struggle with procrastination, poor time management, disorganization, low self-efficacy and -esteem and possibly anxiety and/or mood issues that get in the way of coping and fulfilling your potential, I can help. ADHD is not a knowledge problem but an implementation problem, and I focus on implementation but with empathy and support.
If you are not sure if ADHD is relevant to you, I can help you figure that out, too.
I’ve authored numerous peer-reviewed professional and scientific articles and book chapters. I’ve written five books on adult ADHD. My sixth book will be he “CBT Workbook for Adult ADHD and Anxiety” to be published by New Harbinger in spring 2024. I’m an inductee in the CHADD Hall of Fame, I’m on the editorial board of the Journal of Attention Disorders, and am board-certified in cognitive-behavioral therapy. I’m also experienced in CBT for depression and anxiety and various other issues.
