Hi there! My name is Emily Mark and I’m a substance use counselor and neurodivergent life coach. I discovered my own ADHD diagnosis at the age of 25. At 26, I discovered I am also on the Autism spectrum. Learning about my neurotype- and how it impacts how I think, behave and learn- revolutionized my understanding of myself. Before my diagnoses, I could always perceive a difference between me and my peers, but I couldn’t articulate this difference; but I knew it often led to misunderstandings and disconnection. My diagnosis was my pathway towards radical self-acceptance; and when I fully accepted myself, I was able to learn how to leverage my personal strengths and give myself the support I needed to overcome challenges, like sensory sensitivities  and difficulty regulating attention. I am passionate about helping others do the same.

Coaching; I provide coaching services worldwide. I work with both neurodivergent and allistic people to gain clarity on their personal values and leverage their strengths to help them create unique pathways to an increased quality of life. Since coaching is not billed through insurance, no neurodivergent diagnosis is required to access services. I completed coach training with the International ADHD Coach Training Center and the focus of my work is helping clients navigate symptoms of ADHD, ASD and other neurodivergencies to close the gap between their current and potential states.

Counseling; I offer substance use disorder counseling to individuals located in the state of Montana. I am in network with BCBS, Allegiance, Cigna, Pacific Source and Mountain Health Co-Op. I have harm reduction approach to counseling and specialize in working with individuals who struggle with chronic relapse, impulsivity and codependence. I have experience in working with survivors of domestic violence and members of the LGBTQ+ community. The focus of my clinical practice is to provide neurodivergent-affirming substance use treatment and I incorporate the following modalities in my work; cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, somatic and trauma-informed and motivational enhancement.

I offer services at a sliding scale and accept some bartering offers.
