Description

As humans, as well as individuals with ADHD, we can be overwhelmingly impacted by our thoughts. Identifying them, acknowledging how we are impacted by them, and learning how to manage and change them is very empowering. We can change how we see and feel about ourselves, others, and the world. We can find hope and happiness by actively practicing reframing, optimism, and perspective taking.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will learn what “mindset” means and how it impacts our worldview (perspective).
  • Participants will learn about noticing and managing thoughts and self-talk.
  • Participants will learn what reframing is and how we can use it to manage meaning, rejection sensitivity and emotional dysregulation.
