Who: Robert Madonna

Biography

Robert M. Madonna is currently the President and CEO of Surrey Services, a non profit serving over 6,000 seniors headquartered in Devon, PA. Prior to his present positions Mr. Madonna was a Principal and EVP of Sales and Marketing for McCoy Enterprises, a leading corporate employee training and consulting firm. In 2005, 2006 and 2008, the Wharton School of Business and the Philadelphia Business Journal named McCoy Enterprises as one of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the Philadelphia Area, Mr. Madonna was EVP–Sales and Marketing of EchoBurst Corporation, of Dulles VA, a wireless Location Based Service (LBS) provider. Mr. Madonna was EVP-Sales and Marketing at Numerex Corporation of Atlanta, Georgia. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Madonna was responsible for the successful turnaround of four business units. Prior to joining Numerex, Mr. Madonna had a diverse and successful career at Bell Atlantic Corporation (now Verizon Corporation).

Mr. Madonna serves as the Chairperson and Board of Director of the Delaware County Community College Educational Foundation. Mr. Madonna also served as a Board of Director of the ConKerr Foundation, Advisory Board member of NFTE-Philadelphia, Board of Director of the Mommy’s Light Lives On Fund, Trustee with The Silver Springs-Martin Luther School, and an Advisory Board Member of the National Attention Deficient Disorder Association. Mr. Madonna was a founding director of Golden Cradle Adoption, a nationally recognized adoption agency currently located in New Jersey. Mr. Madonna was the recipient of the 2011 GPSEG Chris Pavilides Networking for Life Award, given to an executive who personifies the “Pay it Forward” approach to networking.

Mr. Madonna holds a bachelor degree in business administration from Widener University in PA and an associate in business administration from Delaware County Community College (DCCC) where he received the Wong Moss Award given annually to the alumnus of the year.
