Message from the Editor: Spring into Action!

We’re off to a great start this spring here at ADDA! We’ve even added extra articles this edition to prove it. We’re all about ACTION right now, and we hope that our April articles and programs help you spring forward, too.
Kirsten Milliken, Ph.D., PCC contributed a great piece on motivation and building new habits this spring. She hopes that one of your new commitments is to play a little bit more! Judy Brenis, interviewer extraordinaire, brings us a page from the book of Terry Huff, an author and ADHD therapist who has some great ideas on what can help YOU live well with ADHD. Also, just in case you missed it last edition, we’re bringing back Linda Walker’s article on building better tax habits (it’s almost over!) to help you take some small steps now to make filing taxes next year a little less painful.
So, sit back, enjoy these great articles, and think of one thing you’d like to commit to this month to spring forward into your life. What is the smallest step you can take to making that goal happen?
If you could use some support and guidance on those goals, we have some great ideas to help! Give our virtual support groups and workshops a spin, take a leap out of your comfort zone to join us at Better Together Festival in May, pick up a Planner Pad to help make sense of it all (more on this next edition), or consider sharing your strengths with the ADHD community by volunteering alongside our team at ADDA.
This spring and always, ADDA will be there to help you take action. If you’re not an ADDA member yet, this is definitely the year you should join ADDA and step into your greatness!
