Jonathan is an ADHD / Executive Function Coach and director of Connect ADHD Coaching, providing services internationally from Brisbane, Australia. With a background of registered nursing in private psychiatric services, he proceeded to multiple roles in the pharmacological industry including the Clinical Research Scientist and Scientific Advisor for ADHD for Australia and New Zealand.
He recognised the potential ADHD Coaching offered in addressing challenges presented by ADHD and completed his ADHD Coaching training through ADDCA in the United States. He has subsequently presented ADHD specific coaching programs within the CHADD innovative programs sections at the US national conferences in 2015 & 2016 while also presenting on ADHD Coaching at the International Coaching Federation Australian Conference in 2016. Through his ADHD Coaching practice he also provides individual, parent group, and partner group programs as well as ADHD training to disability service groups.
He was until recently a board member of ADHD Australia and co-editor of the ADHD Australia Newsletter -The Voice. He is also an active member of national and state based ADHD psychiatry peer review groups, national and international ADHD coaching peer review groups, as well as a member of Auspan. He is also a full member of the Australian Professional ADHD Association.
Jonathan’s current focus is to continue to translate relevant executive function theory and ADHD Coaching practice to provide models and tools that support individuals with ADHD. The ultimate aim being to embrace their native neurobiology and create pathways to recognise and reach their potential.
