Volunteer as a SPARK! Facilitator
We’ve Been Doing This a Long Time
ADDA has been innovating in ADHD awareness, education, and support for adults with ADHD for over thirty years.
ADHD Awareness Month grew from seeds planted and nurtured by ADDA. We’re renowned for our webinars, virtual workshops, and online training. And our virtual peer support groups are recognized for both their innovation and their welcoming environment.
ADDA is at it again…
We’re Innovating Again
ADDA has created a new approach to virtual education and community-building for adults with ADHD. Called SPARK!, this educational format integrates interactivity in learning activities to foster personal connections.
Here’s What’s Different
Most ADHD meetings are about learning. But the challenge with ADHD isn’t “not knowing.” It’s “not doing what we know.” SPARK! takes concise expert knowledge and supports people with ADHD to convert it to meaning and change in their lives.
The SPARK! format:
- Has an ADHD-friendly approach provoking curiosity and exploration
- Is non-directive, collaborative and empowering
- Creates a coaching-like atmosphere in a safe environment
- Provides hope by enabling real success and a realization of what’s possible
We could talk about this all day, but SPARK! is really something you need to experience to understand (and see to believe!)
What’s the Catch?
We need your help.
The virtual ADHD Global Gathering will offer live, interactive programming around the clock on July 22 and 23, 2022. No matter where you are in the world, ADDA will offer programming for you, at a time you’d normally be awake (even if your ADHD doesn’t keep you up into the wee hours!)
We’re creating three SPARK! sessions, each 5 hours long: ADHD @ Work, You, Me & ADHD, and ADHD & Me. We’ll run all three simultaneously, and then we’ll run them again, and again. Three times over 24 hours, with extra programming in the ADDAverse virtual environment throughout.
Offering round the clock, round the world, interactive programming led by quality facilitators demands hundreds of volunteers. And you know who makes great facilitators? People with the values and skills that make great ADHD coaches.
Bottom-Line It for Me
We think the ADHD Global Gathering will set the standard in virtual events for adults with ADHD for years to come. We know it’ll help change the lives of adults with ADHD in every corner of the world.
We’d like you to volunteer as a facilitator for the ADHD Global Gathering by ADDA this July. *
Volunteer facilitators who work at AGGA will:
- Receive facilitator training to run the small group sessions in the SPARK! format.
- Attend AGGA at no charge ($!75 value).
- Receive a free one-year ADDA Professional membership ($150 value).
- Be exposed to hundreds of adults with ADHD at AGGA, and to thousands of ADDA members in your ADDA Professional Directory listing.
- Have our sincere gratitude!
*You are asked to volunteer to facilitate for 2 Spark Sessions (each Spark session includes facilitating 3 x 30-minute small groups). All facilitators are provided session-specific training and materials prior to the event on July 22nd.
