How do I register for a webinar?
Two paths depending on the webinar:

Log into the membership area (click “Member Login” top right, or “Member’s Area” if already logged in).
From the menu under “Welcome Home,” hover “Join a Group” and click “Connect with People Like You.”

Where do I find my group’s meeting details?
When you register for a group, you’ll receive a welcome email with the meeting times and information. You can choose how often you’d like reminders: 3 days before, 1 day before, or the day of your group meeting.
These emails include a link to your group’s page. You can also find the link to join right before your meeting by logging into your membership area.
I’m not getting my group reminder emails. What should I do?
First, check your spam or promotions folder. A lot of our emails end up there.
If our emails were previously marked as spam (by you or your email provider), you may have been added to a blocked sender list. If that’s the case, email info@add.org to request being re-added to our mailing list. We’ll need a quick screenshot from you confirming the request, since we can’t add anyone back to the list without their consent.
ADHD Test Questions
What questions does the ADHD test ask?
For the test itself and additional questions related to it, please visit the ADHD Test page.
ADHD Diagnosis & Finding a Professional
Who can diagnose ADHD?
A physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, or neurologist can diagnose ADHD. Not all providers in these fields have experience with adult ADHD. Symptoms can appear differently in adults than in children. It’s worth asking directly: “How much experience do you have diagnosing ADHD in adults?”
A good starting point is your primary care doctor. If they’re not confident diagnosing ADHD themselves, they can refer you to a psychiatrist or psychologist who specializes in it.
Not sure where to start? Take our ADHD symptom test first to get a clearer picture, then bring those results to your appointment.
I’m in the UK. How do I find an ADHD professional?
Reach out to QbTech’s UK office at qbtech.com/contact-us. Or give them a call, and they can point you toward an ADHD professional near you.
Donations
How can I make a donation to ADDA?
Donate directly at our donations page.
General
My question hasn’t been answered. What should I do?
For technical or membership questions, visit the contact page to submit a question.
For ADHD-related questions, contact the National Resource Center (NRC) / ADHD Helpline: 866-200-8098, Monday through Friday, 1-5pm ET. Note: the NRC doesn’t provide counseling, medical, or legal advice, or direct referrals to specific diagnosing professionals.
Do you have resources for AuDHD?
We don’t have dedicated AuDHD resources, but you’re not alone in asking. What we do have is a wide range of ADHD-specific support, from our community and support groups to our professional directory.
Can you advise on ADHD medication, or if ADHD is curable?
We can’t give medical advice, and we’re not able to recommend specific medications or treatment plans. Your doctor or psychiatrist is the right person for that conversation, since they know your full health picture.
What we can tell you is ADHD isn’t something to cure. It’s a lifelong way your brain works, not a flaw to fix. The goal isn’t to get rid of it. It’s to find what helps you thrive with it. That’s where ADDA comes in to help.
Do you accept partnership, guest post, or collaboration requests?
We get a lot of interest from businesses and organizations who want to work with ADDA. If that’s you, head over to our Sponsors page to see how we partner with organizations and get the conversation started.
