Please join us for a presentation from one of our newest members, Tom Holloway, will share with us “Tools for Change and Accountability” – some practical tools he has found helpful in navigating ADD and life. In those ADD moments when we (or someone around us) lets us down, can we handle it in a way that will get both good results and good relationships? Maybe we jumped to a conclusion and acted in haste, only to find out later that we had misunderstood. Maybe we (or they) missed a deadline or said “Yes” when the better answer was “No”. The presentation will begin with an overview of “InfluencerTM – the New Science of Leading Change”. Then we will dive into “Crucial AccountabilityTM – Tools for Resolving Broken Commitments, Violated Expectations and Bad Behavior.” Bring your questions for a lively discussion.

- Uncover the patterns that, when you break free of them you’ll be set free
- Break free of the habits of procrastination
- Dig deep down and find out the truth behind why you procrastinate and then free yourself
- Learn key strategies to keep you moving forward and gain momentum
Founder of Never Defeated Coaching, Jenna is a Certified ADHD Coach specializing in women with ADHD and has dedicated most of her professional life serving the ADHD community. She received her coaching credentials through JST coaching and Training, the Impact Coaching Academy, and Coachville. Before she became an ADHD Coach, she worked as a consumer consultant for the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission and served as the chairperson of the Massachusetts Statewide Rehabilitation Council LD/ADHD Subcommittee.
She also serves as a volunteer on the Educational Committee for the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA). She also served as a member of the national ADHD member organizations CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder) and ACO (ADHD Coaching Organization)

August 28 Yulia Rafailova, Executive Function & Parent Coach Presents: “Quiet your Inner Critic” Workshop: Combating Negative Self-Talk & Shame in ADHD
It is estimated that those with ADHD receive 20,000 more negative messages by age 12 than those without the condition. The repeated failure to meet expectations from parents, teachers, friends, bosses, and the world only reinforces these negative beliefs and continues the cycle. Sadly these beliefs often develop into a deeply-held critical view of ourselves as fundamentally different, flawed, and not as worthy of success and happiness as the other people around us.
The good news is that our inner critic and all our negative thoughts exist in our imagination. We have the power to choose what we believe about ourselves. This workshop is NOT about thinking positively, but about developing awareness and testing the truth of our thoughts and beliefs.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll take stock of where your beliefs originate and which beliefs may be holding you back from achieving your potential. You will learn to use your most powerful tool (your imagination!) to silence your inner critic and reconnect with your inner cheerleader.
Bring these Materials: Participants should have a writing utensil (pencil/pen/marker) and paper – preferably a journal.
About Yulia: Having grown up with undiagnosed ADHD and an anxiety disorder, Yulia can relate deeply to the children and families that she serves. After a decade of coaching typical and outside-the-box students, Yulia realized how fundamental a role parents play in their child’s development of crucial Executive Function Skills. She founded MindFull Education to teach families about Executive Functioning and how to design better systems for getting along and getting stuff done. Yulia also serves on the Board of Directors for CHADD of the San Fernando Valley where she facilitates an ADHD peer support group and parent workshops.
