Formal meeting 60 minutes, followed by social time/continuing the conversation opportunity.

Our weekly meeting is focused on ADHD education and practical solutions, while acknowledging the identity intersections of mental health, gender, and sexuality. Facilitators’ primary aim is to promote discussion and manage time.

Format

  1. 6:00pm (EST) Introductions
  2. 6:15pm Topic Readings & Facilitator Reflection
  3. 6:50pm Group Responses
  4. 7:30pm Open Discussion
  5. 8:00pm Final End

Our community is open to women and non-binary people who identify as LGBTQIA+ or Queer. This provides a safe space for personal sharing, but not a specific conversational focus.

We rotate between themes of Personal, Interpersonal, Health, and Executive Function symptoms, on which the facilitator presents a brief educational lecture.

Topic examples:

  • Personal: Emotions, Body Image, Aspirations
  • Interpersonal: Masking, Self-Advocacy, Boundaries
  • Health: Medication, Mindfulness, Hormones
  • Executive Function: Productivity, Cooking, Travel

Struggling with ADHD can feel oppressive and shameful. We are striving for communal queer empowerment through self-acceptance and personal growth—Join us!

Hi, are those sessions recorded and available to watch later, if we’re not able to join?
