Friday Night Special Event: a special double feature

Make Creative Holiday Gifts & Improv for Focus and Attention

Learn a new craft!

You are invited to this special event to learn a new craft from ADDA member and volunteer Jen Choo Chee.  Jen has been crafting since she was 12 years old. She loves making things with her hands, like origami, macrame, rock painting, and crocheting. Creative ADHDers enjoy making things like friendship bracelets or sock monkeys. Tonight’s event will highlight making a special gift for a friend, or yourself. Make the holidays a DIY time.

Improv is a good way to practice some of the social skills that many of us ADHDers find challenging: staying focused, getting to the point, learning to read other people, etc. Plus it’s just plain fun. Mike Fedel has been leading “Improv for non-Actors” for over 10 years and will talk about his “Improv for Focus and Attention” groups. We’ll also play some games so you can try it for yourself.
