The ADHD@ Work> Survive & Thrive Club is virtual peer group for members who are creating and refining healthy workplace habits.
This group is for you if you are:
- at a plateau at work, (no raise in a while or not promoted)
- experiencing burnout, worried about putting in enough face-time
- feel like an imposter
Ms. Saunders attended several of the peer groups here at ADDA and was looking for a group to discuss and share strategies related exclusively to work.
Like Holly, so many mid-life diagnosed ADHDers notice life patterns and seek to improve all aspects of their lives, yet they don’t have a friend in the same situation to talk too.
We will present ADHD friendly strategies and brainstorm on how they can be adapted to work for you, as well as provide support from a community of like-minded peers.
Discussion topics to include:
- Social Skills/Emotional Regulation,
- Time Management/Procrastination,
- De-cluttering desk/work area & Digital Organization,
- Managing Focus and
- Creating self-accommodations
Expert guest speaker Frank Potter, ADDA Board Member and retired Iowa state vocational rehabilitation counselor.
