“Impulsivity” — even ADHD folks diagnosed with inattentive presentation have it sometimes. And those of us with a heaping dose of hyperactivity are its intimate friends.
But WHY do we spend more money than we have, blurt out hurtful (but, let’s face it, honest) proclamations, fight with addictions and even have trouble saying “no” to that extra piece of cheesecake? It’s the ADHD, sure, but isn’t there more to it than that?
Yes there is and we’ll delve a little deeper during this ADDA Webinar on an impulsively-chosen different night!
Join Linda Roggli, PCC, as she peels back the covers on how impulsivity shows up for us (in more ways than you might suspect), what is happening in our lovely ADHD brains when we act on impulse and offers a few well-curated strategies that might actually work to curb it when necessary.
