The Taming of the Shame – with Rudy Rodriguez

William Dodson, MD has written that “You cannot manage the impairments of ADHD until you understand the emotional impairing aspects of ADHD”. Most people are familiar with the most common ADHD traits – inattention, distractibility and restlessness. However, the emotional feelings experienced with ADHD are frequently misdiagnosed or overlooked yet account for pivotal ADHD challenges in daily life.
This seminar will examine the internal emotions frequently experienced by individuals with ADHD. I will introduce specific strategies including Mindfulness strategies to help recognize and interrupt the emotionally impairing patterns of thinking and behavior, allowing you to create more emotionally satisfying lives.
