No one ever said that working with people was easy. In fact, it can be one of the most difficult things that we do on a daily basis. But relationships are all around us—from the people, we work with, to the friends we have, to the specialists we hire to help us. Even the relationships we have at home affect how we show up in the business world.
Many relationships detract from your energy. These relationships are based on catabolic energy. They are filled with doubt, worry, fear, guilt, anger, requirements, needs, and the like. If you find that you are not around people who help you grow, either you or your relationships need to change.
Let’s start 2023 on a strong path, it starts with strong, supportive relationships.

I’m new and looking forward to learning
new ways of seeing, thinking and understanding.
I’m elderly by cultural standards, however, I have a wonderful Soul Child that keeps me young…and I pet and house sit here in Santa Barbara. I have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren and communicate well…most times, especially, if I take time to really listen. I have adapted well in many areas, and was highly functioning in creating a year long substance abuse program in a Catholic high school. My biggest issue is organizing and keeping on track and Focused. Maybe too creative when I need to focus. I was on meds, however, there was a a small issue with the heart beat that the Cardiologist said was not problematic. And…I stopped because of a wrist surgery. I’m still not taking meds. I don’t always stay on track…depends.
I think being in touch with people in a group, which I used to be part of in another city, was helpful emotionally and in other ways as well.
I look forward to being a member of ADDA and growing more in organizing
and in other ways as well.
