Alain Black is an adult with ADHD from Phoenix, Arizona.

Professionally, he manages System Engineering and DevSecOps teams. His expertise includes project and program management, Lean Six Sigma process improvement, and information security.

In his spare time, he is a passionate martial arts practitioner and instructor of Tai Liu Chuan Fa, having become a senior master. He also loves playing games with friends, from boardgames like Arkham Horror, to computer games such as Minecraft, Counter-Strike, and is now exploring immersive virtual reality with VRChat. He also enjoys many genres of music to the point of traveling to different countries to see his favorite artists.

Alain was diagnosed with ADHD in 2016 and discovered ADDA during his early research. ADDA has been instrumental in helping Alain understand and manage his ADHD as well as provided valuable resources and connections with others who share similar experiences.

Now, Alain is dedicated to helping ADDA help adults with ADHD find the information, tools, and support they need to thrive with ADHD. Alain volunteers with ADDA to give back to the community that has given him so much.
