About Me
Professional Biography
Living with ADHD, ADD, or a complex learning disability comes with unique challenges that I can help you with. I've received my Ph.D. from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, and currently work as a clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, Board of Examiners in Georgia, USA, and PSYPACT (online provider to participating states). I am also a CBT-certified clinician by the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies - CACBT and certified practitioner in Internal Family Systems, Level 1.
I specialize in administering Detailed Assessments and my practice, Peakminds Psychology Services, offers psychological services to adults, adolescents, and children with various mental health disorders. My clinical focus includes:
ADHD & ADD
Autism spectrum disorder
Mood and anxiety disorders
Insomnia treatment
Ttraumatic stress disorders
Eating disorders
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
Grief and bereavement
Work-life problems
I draw on evidence-based modalities, skills, and interventions from psychotherapies such as:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing
Internal Family Systems
I provide extensive psychodiagnostic, psychoeducational, and psychovocational assessments to help identify learning disorders, attention hyperactivity-deficit disorder, autism spectrum disorder, neurodevelopmental, and mental health disorders.
I can help you navigate the emotional aspects of embracing your ADHD, and also establish some effective strategies for managing tasks and life balance. If you’re ready to celebrate your strengths and thrive in everyday life, feel free to reach out to me for a free consultation.
