Linda Anderson, MCC is a Business and Personal Coach who specializes in working with ADHD professionals, creative clients and coaches. Linda is a master certified coach who began her business, Getting Clear, in 1993. She is a Vice President on the board of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association and has helped to establish the ADHD Coaching Principles. She is actively involved in helping ADDA expand training and leadership opportunities for coaches and in helping ADDA gain value from the talents and experience of coaches.

 

Robin F. Bond, Esq. is the President of Transition Strategies, LLC, a suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based law firm that brings employment law expertise to individuals. For the past 7 years, Robin has utilized her legal and business expertise in the negotiation of severance and new employment agreements, obtaining reasonable accommodations in the workplace for employees with disabilities, and coaching people on how to successfully navigate "performance improvement plans". Additionally she provides strategy development and coaching to corporate executives and physicians, either as their representative negotiating the deals, or as a "behind the scenes" advisor. Robin speaks frequently on negotiation skills and employment law topics, and is an author for West Publisher's three-volume reference manual, Health Law Practice Guide. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Dave Brattain, MES, ACT, ACG is Coordinator of Services at the ADDed Dimension Coaching Group. He is a graduate of both the Optimal Functioning Institute (ACT) and the ADD Coach Academy (ACG), and has been coaching AD/HD adults exclusively for five years. Previous to the focus on AD/HD, Dave was a health and wellness coach, and a Medical Exercise Specialist (MES). He started his career in clinical social work, counseling students and families on various mental health topics. Dave has particular expertise coaching AD/HD adults in three areas: health and wellness, self-employment, and mid-life adults new to AD/HD.

 

Steven A. Carreras, Ph.D., LICSW Dr. Steven Carreras, an LICSW with a Ph.D. in social policy (at-risk youth), is a psychotherapist, and a therapeutic placement consultant (providing placement and a one-year follow-up for at-risk youth and young adults). Dr. Carreras served as a forensic social worker in the Dade County Public Defender's Office in Miami, FL, where, as a mental health expert witness, he presented courtroom testimony regarding therapeutic placements for individuals diagnoses with AD/HD, post traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety. He is also is certified to administer the Highlands Ability Battery, which helps individuals utilize there multiple talents and interests so they may thrive academically and in the work place. He is relocating his practice to Scottsdale, AZ in February 2005.

Sherry Clarke has a Masters of Counseling Psychology, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and an AD/HD Life Coach, owner/private practice. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Life Coach specializing with AD/HD issues. She has nearly ten years experience working with families and couples using the family systems model developed by Virginia Satir to assist her clients in recognizing their challenges and learning the skills to live more successful lives. Three of her five adult children have AD/HD and one grandson has been diagnosed.

 

Barbara A. Cohen, Ph.D., MFT is a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist, and maintains a comprehensive private practice, in Tarzana, California. She received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Sierra University (1993). As Director of the Center for Healing the Human Spiritsm, Inc., she has integrated a variety of methods into her practice. These include Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, Physical Fitness Training (nutrition, coordination, flexibility, cardiovascular, and strength), and naturopathic and holistic health practices. In addition, she has incorporated Native American and Eastern philosophies, rituals and beliefs whereby she can assist with the development or enhancement of the client's spiritual life. In addition to her extensive work at the Center, Dr. Cohen has authored a number of works since 1984 with her most recent publication in 2002, Sexuality for Women with AD/HD.

Denise E. Davis is a licensed Marriage, Family and Child Counselor with many years experience teaching academically challenged adolescents and adults in "Bridge" programs at California State University, Long Beach. She also has a thriving practice and has been very successful in developing innovative and creative coping strategies for her ADD population.

 

Chris Zeigler Dendy is an author, educator, school psychologist and children's mental health professional with over thirty-five years experience. She is also the mother of two grown sons with ADHD. She presents all across the U.S. and abroad and has authored two videotapes and three popular books on ADHD (one with son Alex). She currently serves on the CHADD National Board of Directors.

Terry M. Dickson, M.D. is the director of The Behavioral Medicine Clinic of Northwest Michigan, which serves and supports children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD. The clinic was started in 2001. We are a comprehensive clinic which provides education and supportive materials to families and individuals as well as medical treatment when needed. Dr. Dickson was engaged in the private practice of pediatrics for 15 years before starting an ADHD clinic. After attending a national conference on ADHD three years ago, he decided that his life work needed to be helping and serving individuals with ADHD. He is the father of two children, and having been diagnosed with ADHD several years ago as an adult, understands the challenges of fathering children from an ADHD standpoint.

Tom Dooley is an AD/HD coach, with an established private practice in Santa Cruz, California. He himself was diagnosed with AD/HD about 4 years ago. He acquired a B.A. in psychology from Boston University, and continued his formal education by engaging in intensive coach training at the ADD Coach Academy, of which he is a graduate. Tom specializes in coaching ADD adults, including solo entrepreneurs, sales and marketing executives and managers, college students and non-ADD spouses/partners. Prior to starting his coaching practice, Tom was National Sales Manager for two multi-million dollar natural products companies, and was a full-time professional musician for many years.

 

Laurie D. Dupar MN, RN, owner Change of Focus Coaching, is a professional Life Coach and AD/HD Educator, with over 20 years working in areas of mental wellness. Her experience and master's education in the psychiatric field provide her with a working knowledge of the neurobiology and psychopharmacology associated with the AD/HD adult. In addition to her private coaching practice, Laurie co-leads a weekly on-campus collegiate AD/HD action group in the Sacramento area. She is frequently consulted in the areas of AD/HD, transitions and education. Laurie lives in the Sacramento, California area with her husband of 18 years, her four children, one of whom has AD/HD and her menagerie of pets.

Wilma Fellman, M.Ed., LPC, has been a Career and Life Planning Counselor for over 20 years, specializing in adolescents and adults with AD/HD, LD and other challenges, with respect to career issues. She is the founder and coordinator of an organization called MAAAN for Professionals (Michigan Adolescent and Adult ADD Network for Professionals). Ms. Fellman is the author of the books, The Other Me: Poetic Thoughts on ADD for Adults, Kids and Parents, and Finding A Career That Works For You, as well as contributing author to the book Understanding Women With AD/HD. She has presented workshops at local, state and national levels on the subject of career development decisions with ADD/LD and other special challenges. Holly J. Hamilton, M.C.C. Master Certified Coach, AD/HD Consultant coaches adults, adolescents, and parents of AD/HD children, has a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and is the co-owner of ADD-UP, LLC (Attending Difference Dilemma - Unlimited Potential). She conducts workshops and seminars for both professionals and the general public and was a contributor to Teaching Teens with ADD and ADHD, written by Chris Ziegler Dendy. She is the mother of two adult AD/HD sons, is an AD/HDer, the daughter of a self-diagnosed AD/HD-OCD father, and has an undiagnosed AD/HD brother who is an engineer.

 

David Giwerc, Master Certified Coach, is the Founder and President of the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), a nationally recognized, comprehensive training program designed to teach the essential skills necessary to powerfully coach individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. He has an established coaching practice dedicated to AD/HD entrepreneurs and the mentoring of AD/HD coaches. David is a board member and Vice- President/Marketing /Communications for the Attention Deficit Disorder Association, the world's leading adult AD/HD organization (ADDA), chairs the Marketing Committee, (ADDA), and is a regular presenter at their national conferences. He has written and co- directed the 2002,2003,2004 ADDA strategic plan and was a key member involved in the development of the ADDA's Guiding Principals for Coaching Individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

 

Cameron Gott, BS, ACT, CPCC is a follow-thru coach at the ADDed Dimension Coaching Group, specializing in providing ADD-specific tools to creative and resourceful professionals and business owners so they can thrive in their work environments. Clients come to Cameron to address inconsistencies with personal productivity and to educate themselves about their ADD. With a background in education, Cameron received advanced coach training and certification from the Coaches Training Institute, an ICF accredited coaching program. Cameron also completed an intense 2 year ADD coach training program through the Optimal Functioning Institute. He has been a speaker at regional ADD conferences and has presented to groups of students diagnosed with AD/HD about finding success at the college level.

 

Edward Hallowell, MD is a child and adult psychiatrist, best selling author, nationally known speaker, and the founding Director of The Hallowell Center for Cognitive and Emotional Health, in Sudbury, MA. He is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard College, and Tulane Medical School, and a faculty member at the Harvard Medical School. He is coauthor of Driven to Distraction (with John J. Ratey, M.D.) and the author of When You Worry About the Child You Love, Worry, Connect, Human Moments, and, most recently, The Childhood Roots of Adult Happiness: Five Steps to Help Kids Create and Sustain Lifelong Joy. He has appeared on such television shows as 20/20, The Today Show, Dateline, Oprah, Good Morning America and The View.

 

Deborah Lancaster has a degree in Home Economics. Both her and her son, Grant have ADD. She was asked to host the first-ever scheduled chat on America Online for ADD support, and also hosted the Procrastinator's Workshop, for a total of 4 groups a week for over 5 years. Her expertise is in helping people overcome the various obstacles that are commonly associated with having ADHD as it relates to procrastination and accomplishing one's goals. Lancaster has an excellent command of the language, and the ability to understand people and "disarm" their objections, suggesting new ways of thinking and approaching problems.

 

Kate Kelly, MSN, ACT, is a mental health nurse/therapist and ADD coach, who has specialized in working with ADD adults for fifteen years. She is co-founder of The ADDed Dimension Coaching group, the first group coaching practice focused on serving the needs of adults with ADD. Kate is also co-author of You Mean I'm Not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy?! and The ADDed Dimension.. Kate is a former board member of ADDA and editor of the newsletter Focus. She is a nationally recognized speaker and workshop leader on topics related to adults with ADD.

 

D. Steven Ledingham, BA is an ADDed Dimension Coaching Group member who has been actively involved in the field of adult ADHD since 1989. He has served on the Board of directors of the National Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA), trained many leaders of Adult ADD Self-Help and Support Groups, and has a long history of presenting nationally on ADHD-related topics. Steven is the author of The Scoutmaster's Guide to ADD, and coauthor of Maintaining and Operating Your ADDult ADD Group, and The ADHD Program Helps. He is also a contributor to The ADDed Dimension, by Kate Kelly and Peggy Ramundo. Steven is currently completing a master's degree in special education and working as an Intervention Specialist for the Ohio Distance Education Learning Academy (OHDELA) a distance learning based K-12 statewide school based in Akron, Ohio.

 

Barbara Luther is a Master Certified Coach Barbara Luther began her coaching business, Wind Beneath Your Wings, in 1996. She is an AD/HD coach, mentor coach, and teleclass leader for Coach U, Corporate CoachU, and the ADD Coach Academy. Barbara is the author of The Heartful Business Plan and co-author of It's My Business: A Business Toolkit for Coaches. Sandy Maynard is a Catherine Gillette Blyely Scholar who earned a BA in Biology and Education from Keuka College in NY and a degree in Medical Technology at the Franklin Medical Center in MA. As the chemistry supervisor at FMC, she has attained a strong background for coaching health and wellness and organizational skills. Sandy prepared for her second career in coaching by attending Dale Carnegie classes and becoming a graduate assistant for course instruction. She then studied and practiced at the New England Institute of Neuro-Linguistic Studies in Amherst, MA where she earned a certification in Ericksonian Hypnosis and a master's certification in NLP. Kristi McClanahan is an AD/HD and Parenting Coach. She graduated form the ADD Coach Academy and also earned certification from the Parent-Coach(tm) program. As a speaker, songwriter and performer, Kristi is a popular presenter for schools, ADDA and CHADD chapters. Kerch McConlogue, CPCC, has been a coach for five years. She helps people get the most from their own best ideas. Kerch's passion is adults who have AD/HD and other people who just have too many ideas because "they can always find another way of doing something." She has been fortunate to work for herself alone at home (well, except for the kids) for more than 25 years. In the past she produced painted paper cuttings for the wholesale market and big events for non profit organizations like the Baltimore City Fair, the Fund for Educational Excellence, and the Baltimore Opera Company. She traveled 16 days with a circus across Maryland.

Pamela Milazzo is the founder of Empowered ADDvantages, a limited liability corporation specializing in AD/HD, Executive Functioning, Academic and Advocacy Coaching for adults and students with AD/HD. Unique to Ms. Milazzo's work is her focus on responsible, effective self-advocacy for all individuals with AD/HD, regardless of their age or challenges. Ms. Milazzo is a graduate of the ADD Coach Academy; she has earned a Juris Doctorate degree and a Bachelor of Science in Education degree; and she trained as a Mediator through the Institute for Dispute Resolution of the Seton Hall University Law School. In addition to her work as an AD/HD coach, she has worked as a lawyer, a Mediator, a Middle School and High School teacher, and she is devoted to serving the AD/HD community through her volunteer work as a speaker and presenter locally and nationally to parent advocacy groups and special-needs support groups.

 

Jerry Mills is an internationally acclaimed educator, singer/songwriter and motivational trainer who travels full-time sharing what the Chicago Tribune calls "an intensely personal look at the challenges faced by today's youth and adults." Hundreds of thousands of adults and students have experienced the impact of his live training. He was named ADDA's first ever National Mentor and Role Model. As a child he experienced the "failures, fears and frustrations" of some nameless problem. These experiences later led him to pursue a career as a teacher. As a classroom teacher, Jerry discovered the real cause of his lifelong struggles with learning. It was a discovery that would change his life and the lives of many others. Presenting educational workshops and training full time, he is regularly featured for a wide range of state and national conferences. A talented and prolific songwriter and storyteller, his work vividly captures a broad range of human experience and emotional encounters with the challenges of life.

 

Michele Novotni, PhD is the president of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association. She is a licensed psychologist, an AD/HD coach, a certified school psychologist, elementary and secondary guidance counselor and teacher, with over 25 years of experience working with both children and adults with Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder. She is author of What Does Everybody Else Know That I Don't?: Social Skills Help for Adults with AD/HD, and The Novotni Social Skills Checklists. She co-authored Adult ADHD: A Reader Friendly Guide to Identifying, Understanding and Treating Adult Attention Deficit Disorder. Michele is a columnist for ADDitude magazine and serves as their social skills expert. She has had articles published in ADDitude, ATTENTION, ADDvance, and Focus. She lectures extensively throughout the world on a variety of topics related to AD/HD. She is has a private practice at the Wayne Counseling Center, Wayne, PA.

Jefferson Prince, MD is an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, the Director of Child Psychiatry for North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Massachusetts, and a Staff Member at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed his residencies in Psychiatry and Acute Psychiatry Service at Massachusetts General Hospital. Subsequently, he completed his Clinical Fellowship in Child Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospitals in Boston. Dr Prince is board certified in Medicine, General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. A member of the American Medical Association, Dr Prince is also the recipient of many awards and honors including the distinction of Laughlin Fellow for the American College of Psychiatrists. He is the author or co-author of more than 50 original articles, abstracts and book chapters, and he has made more than 100 academic and non-academic presentations nationally and internationally.

 

J. Russell Ramsay, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He also serves as Associate Director of Penn's ADHD Treatment and Research Program and as a senior staff psychologist at the Center for Cognitive Therapy. He has authored numerous professional papers and book chapters, and has lectured internationally on the principles and clinical applications of cognitive behavior therapy, particularly as they pertain to adult ADHD.

Peggy Ramundo, BS, ACT is co-founder of The ADDed Dimension Coaching group. An educator by background, she has extensive experience as a presenter and workshop leader on ADD related topics. A graduate of The Optimal Functioning Institute, Peggy has also trained and mentored many of the most powerful and effective ADD coaches in the field. She is a former ADDA board member and co-founder of The ADD Council of Cincinnati. Peggy is the co-author of You Mean I'm Not Lazy,Stupid or Crazy?! and The ADDed Dimension.

 

Paul Ravenscraft, BS, MBA, TRM, ADD has been active for over 20 years in creating and adapting techniques for effecting intentional change. Paul has extensive experience with ritual design and implementation.. He brings those skills to the ADDed Dimension Team sponsoring the Welcome to the ADD Family Pre-conference. A professional recently identified as an adult with ADD, he has personal experience as a leader and facilitator in both Corporate and Not-for-Profit environments. Paul is an experienced life coach specializing in sexuality, relationship, and intimacy issues, and most recently has begun working as a teacher and mentor of Tantra Yoga in the Ipsalu tradition of Kriya Yoga.

 

Dana Rayburn coaches high-functioning business owners and professionals with AD/HD to improve their productivity, increase their profits and discover a more effortless life. Dana is the author of the popular 'ADDed Success' Ezine as well as the Ebook 'Organized for Life'. Dana sees AD/HD as a gift that makes life more exciting and rewarding than it would otherwise be. She helps her clients learn to use their AD/HD to their advantage and to set themselves up for success. A professional coach since 1998, Dana came to coaching from eight years as a professional organizer. Wendy Richardson, M.A. MFT is a Licensed Marriage, Family, Therapist and Certified Addictions Specialist who has been working in the mental health field for 30 years. Ms. Richardson is nationally recognized as an expert on ADHD and co-occurring substance use disorders, eating disorders, behavioral addictions, criminal behavior and shame. She provides trainings for criminal justice personnel, teaches graduate level courses, and trains professionals on ADHD in America and abroad. Ms. Richardson's book, The Link Between ADD and Addiction, Getting the Help You Deserve is the first book that sensitively addresses the problems of ADHD and co-related addictions, eating disorders and behavioral addictions. Roland Rotz, PhD is a licensed child, adolescent, and adult psychologist and director of the Lifespan Development Center in Carpinteria (near Santa Barbara), CA. While offering a full range of diagnostic and clinical services, Dr. Rotz specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and the co-occurring conditions. Over the past 15 years, he has focused his attention on establishing and maintaining effective treatment strategies for children, adolescents and adults with ADHD. More recently, he has addressed the needs of those with chronic disorganization. Over the years Dr. Rotz has begun and continues to facilitate support groups for Clutterers and ADHD in Santa Barbara, CA. In 2001, Michael Sandler discovered he had Adult Attention Deficit Disorder while taking two simultaneous masters degrees at Colorado State University. To overcome his disorder, he had to learn everything he could about ADD and rebuild his life. Since then he has coached others with ADD and written two books to be published, The ADD Advantage in College and The ADD Advantage - Forty Days of Focus. This summer, he undertook the ADD adventure of a lifetime-riding his bicycle from Portland, Oregon, to Washington, D.C., a 5000-mile ride in forty days to raise positive awareness on how others can also thrive and succeed with Attention Deficit Disorder.

Her expertise is in effectively supporting people in transcending issues concerning Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) and / or specific learning disabilities such as: dyslexia, disorders of mathematical or written expression, non-verbal learning disorders, and auditory or visual processing problems. In her work with individual clients and organizations, her training focuses on how to strategically utilize individual strengths (interests, learning style, rapport...) to compensate for weaknesses, thus cultivating successful experiences in previously daunting tasks. Currently, Sydney is writing a "how to" manual for parents and kids about assessing, accommodating and adapting learning style. She holds a B.A. in elementary education, a M. Ed. in Urban Education, and an Ed. S. in Supervision and Administration for Special Populations from Gallaudet (a Deaf) University, conferred with honors. She has a history of ADHD, and verbal & non-verbal learning differences.

Heidi Schulz, CPO-CD is a certified professional organizer in chronic disorganization through the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD). Entering her second decade of organizing, Heidi is continually challenged and committed to the dynamic field of organizing. The Collaborative Therapy method has evolved out of Heidi's experience of working with those who are organizationally challenged. Heidi is a member of the NSGCD. She is currently involved in Level IV NSGCD program, and serves as a Peer Review Panelist for the Level III CPO training program. Heidi is also a National Association of Professional Organizers Golden Circle Member.

 

Sari Solden, MS, LMFT is a psychotherapist in private practice in Ann Arbor, MI who has worked with men and women with AD/HD for the past 15 years. She is the author of Women with Attention Deficit Disorder and her newest book is Journeys Through ADDulthood which is for both men and women as well as mental health professionals. Solden trains mental health professionals on counseling adults with AD/HD and is a prominent speaker at both at national and international AD/HD conferences as well as a frequent contributor to publications on this subject. She serves on the professional advisory board of ADDA and has served on the program conference committee for national CHADD. Her areas of specialization include inattentive AD/HD, women's issues as well as the long term counseling issues for men and women not diagnosed until adulthood. Sari was the 1996 recipient of ADDA's award for outstanding service by a helping professional.

Ken Zaretzky, PCC is a full time ADHD Coach. He is a pioneer in relationships coaching where one or more people have ADD. Ken received his training as an ADHD Coach from Sandy Maynard (Catalytic Coaching) and studied family coaching with Jodi Sleeper-Triplett. Additionally, Ken was trained as life coach at The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and has completed advanced training in coaching at Coachville and the Institute for Life Coach Training (ILCT). Ken's depth and understanding of the coaching profession has lead to interviews on numerous television and radio shows. A sought after speaker, he has presented locally and nationally on both Coaching and Attention Deficit Disorder. In addition to his coaching practice Ken is working on a doctorate in professional coaching at International University for Professional Studies.
